Wildlife Trade Watch by Mobile Unit
On August 17 and September 11, two Wildlife Trade Watches were carried out by ENV’s Mobile Unit to strengthen the mornitoring and surveying skills of ENV’s Volunteers and ENV staff members. This will help in the monitoring of businesses already found to have broken the law by ENV, find new establishments violating the law, and report on results. Sixty-four restaurants and business establishments were monitored, with 13 restaurants found to be violating wildlife protection regulations. Three of those cases were new.
