Quang Nam: A macaque and a python successfully rescued

On May 23, 2011, ENV received information about the case of a pig- tailed macaque (Macaca leonina) and a python being kept in the Culture and Telecommunication Center in Que Son district, Quang Nam province. ENV immediately transferred the information to the authorities. It is the fact that two animals have been kept as a form of entertainment since the beginning of 2000. After finalizing the necessary procedures, on November 28, 2011, the Forest Protection Department in Que Son district transferred these two animals to the Wildlife Rescue Center in Phong Nha - Ke Bang.
