Thua Thien Hue: Macaque voluntarily transferred
On October 3, 2011, a resident in Hue province contacted ENV hotline to report a stump- tailed macaque (Macaca arctoides) being kept in a café in Hue province. ENV immediately transferred the information to the FPD of Thua Thien Hue province. After FPD approached the subject many times, on November 24, the macaque was voluntarily transferred.
