Hanoi: A loris confiscated
On October 18, 2011, immediately after receiving information about a loris being kept at a shop on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, ENV contacted Hanoi environmental police to report the case. On October 19, the loris was confiscated by Hanoi authorities and was planned to be transferred to a nature reserve center. The subject is yet to be punished.
Loris belongs to Group IB of Decree 32/2006/ND-CP – group of endangered, rare and precious animals which are forbidden to exploit or used for trade target.
