Quang Binh: A stump-tailed macaque confiscated
On September 21, ENV received a report that a stump-tailed macaque
(Macaca arctoides) was kept in a resident’s house in An Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province. ENV immediately asked local authorities to check the site. Forest Protection Department in Quang Ninh district confiscated the macaque.
The stump-tailed macaque is expected to be released into Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
