Binh Thuan: Three long-tailed macaques released

On September 16, ENV received a report that three long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) were being kept at Wind Champ Resort in BinhThuan province. ENV immediately asked BinhThuan Forest Protection Department (FPD) to inspect the site. The resort manager explained that the macaques belonged to a Korean guest.

After being advised by the FPD, the subject agreed to transfer the macaques. The FPD released the macaques into Ta Cu Mountain area in Ham Thuan Nam district, BinhThuan Province.
