Da Nang: Loris released back into the wild

On May 27, a pygmy loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus) was released back into the wild by Da Nang’s FPD. On May 25 the loris was found by a local resident when he was cleaning up one of his hotel rooms. The resident contacted the authorities to hand over the wild animal.

The loris belongs to group IB of Decree 32/ND-CP - the group of rare wild animals forbidden to be exploited or used for commercial purposes.
