Thanh Hoa: Local resident voluntarily transferred a bear

On April 7, a 100kg bear that wasn't microchipped was rescued from a local residence by Tho Xuan and Yen Dinh district FPD.  Another resident, who heard about the ENV Hotline on the radio, called ENV to inform them the bear had been kept at the residence for almost 1 year.  ENV immediately passed on this information to local FPD for them to deal with the case.  After being made aware of the law, the owner agreed to transfer the bear to the authorities.
