Tuyen Quang: Seizure of a large Indian civet
A large Indian civet (Viverra zibetha) was recently seized from a local snake farm by Tuyen Quang FPD. A colleague in the conservation field had informed ENV about the civet. ENV contacted Tuyen Quang FPD who immediately rescued the civet.
The Large Indian civet is listed as protected under group IIB of Decree 32/2006/NĐ-CP – the group of wild animals restricted to be exploited and used for commercial purposes.
