ENV’s first wildlife club in Hanoi
On January 22, the Wildlife Club in Hanoi (WiC-HN) was successfully launched at the Hanoi University of Science, part of the Vietnam National University, with 20 core members. ENV’s Volunteer Network now has total of 2700 members all across the country, in which 768 members have been acting independently since 2007. ENV hopes that the efforts of young volunteers will inspire others to take action either by volunteering, reporting wildlife crime to local authorities or to the ENV Wildlife Crime Hotline 18001522, or simply by choosing not to consume wildlife or products made from wildlife.
