Bear exhibitions and pledge collections

From January 20 to 23, ENV held bear exhibitions at the University of Languages and International studies (part of the  Vietnam National University) and the National Planning Exhibition. The exhibitions included many interesting activities, such as the airing of a bear bile extraction film and an information board, as well as a visit from Ranger Bear.

At the National Planning Exhibition, booths selling vegetarian products were in force, resulting in the keen interest of exhibition-goers at ENV’s stall, and Ranger Bear was interviewed by the fair’s organizers. A total of 1,556 people pledged not to use bear bile during the events. Over 2010, a total of 23,237 people pledged not to use bear bile at all the bear exhibitions held by ENV.
