Leopard cat transferred to  Cuc Phuong NP

On January 20, a leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) was transferred to the Carnivore and Pangolin Conservation Program (CPCP) at Cuc Phuong NP with the cooperation of the CPCP, the Cat Ba NP FPD, and the assistance of ENV’s Wildlife Crime Unit.

ENV’s Wildlife Crime Unit learned that the Cat Ba NP FPD had found the cat with an injured leg in the forest. ENV contacted the CPCP, who immediately agreed to receive the cat. This is wonderful way to celebrate the upcoming Vietnamese lunar calendar Year of the Cat.
