Binh Duong: Three pig-tailed macaques successfully transferred
On January 13, three pig-tailed macaques (Macaca leonine) were transferred to the Nui Cau Protected Forest in good health by the Binh Duong FPD.
On January 4, an ENV Wildlife Crime Officer received a tip from a volunteer that three macaques were being displayed for sale at a local shop selling animals. ENV immediately informed the Binh Duong FPD about the case. The animals were rescued and the owner received an administrative fine.
