Ho Chi Minh City: Wildlife released
After receiving information from a volunteer about birds being sold in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), a wildlife crime officer immediately transferred the case to the Mobile Team in HCMC. After several days of ambush, in the morning of Friday, June 25, 2010, the Mobile Team confiscated one leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis), one kite, four falcons, one unidentified wild bird, and twelve squirrels (unidentified). The wild animals will be transferred to Cu Chi Rescue Center shortly.
