A young student voluntarily handed tortoise.

This morning 29June, a high school student named Loan Phuong in Hanoi has just voluntarily handed an Elongated tortoise to ENV’s Wildlife Crime Unit. Phuong is an active volunteer who has also joined many activities to protect wildlife animals with ENV. The Elongated tortoise is regarded as a kind of rare fresh water tortoise-type 2B according to Decree No.32/2006/ND-CP. It will soon be transferred to Turtle Conservation Center (TTC) of Cuc Phuong National Park.

 

Loan Phuong is handing the Elongated tortoise to Hien Linh - ENV Volunteer Network Officer.
