ENV participates in annual UNIS Spring Fair and Green Living Fair
On April 10, ENV participated in the annual UNIS Spring Fair by setting up an information and membership booth to raise awareness about wildlife conservation amongst the public. ENV displayed informative exhibit boards on bear trade issues and examples of wildlife confiscated during wildlife trade seizures, played a documentary film showing what it is like for bears inside the bear bile extraction ‘torture chamber’, sold ENV merchandise and put on a short comedy. Children enjoyed a special corner with games and activities. On April 11, ENV participated in the Green Living Fair hosted by Toyota. ENV’s representative and student volunteers actively participated in the event by asking people to sign commitments to protect Vietnam’s bears, collecting 471 pledges. The ENV team also encouraged participation in the growing volunteer network, with over 150 people joining.
