Environmental Education training course in Tam Dao National Park
Over ten days from the 12th to 21st of May, ENV, in cooperation with Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) held an environmental education training course for eight staff from five protected areas in Vietnam.  This course, which was held at ENV’s National Environment Education Training Centre Tam Dao National Park, is the first of two courses for 2009 to be held as part of the ENV and TMV joint project “Go Green - Nature Conservation”.
The trainees were taught environment education techniques and worked with ENV staff to develop plans for at least one environment education activity which they will conduct in and around the protected areas where they work. ENV’s trainers helped trainees improve the necessary communications skills to ensure effective implementation of environmental education activities in their national parks and nature reserves.
