Using military guns for illegal hunting in Lam Dong province
On February 13, a gang of 13 illegal hunters armed with military guns massacred wild animals throughout the night. The following morning, this gang was arrested by rangers from Bidoup – Nui Ba National Park and Chu Yang Sin National Park. Three deer, two wild pigs, two civets, one muntjac and one macaque were found disemboweled, slaughtered and burned. (Vietnamese version)

Black coral confiscated in Quang Ngai province  
On February 14, 143kg of black coral which was being illegally transported was confiscated by staff from Border Post 288 in Quang Ngai province. (Vietnamese version)
