Nghe An police sized smuggled animals
Nghe An province police last Saturday in two separate incidents caught two drivers and seized two smuggled elephant tusks weighing o total of 9.7 kg as well as 300 kg of poached wild pangolins during a patrol on National Highway 1A in Dien Chau District, Luyen Hong Chuc, 25, the driver of the car carrying the tusks, said the tusks belonged to province resident Hoang Van Huy. The pangolins belonged to Tran Song Toan, who lives in the neighbouring provicne of Ha Tinh, the police said. The police are investigating.
