Binturong transferred to Cuc Phuong Rescue Center
On July 25, a Binturong (Arctictis binturong) was transferred to Cuc Phuong Rescue Center after a member of the public handed the animal over to the Binh Dinh Forest Protection Department.

Langur saved by Ia Grai Police
Three langurs, two badgers and a 15kg bag of monitor lizards were confiscated by Ia Grai Police, Gia Lai province. While two of the langurs had already died by the time they were confiscated, the other animals were successfully rescued and released back into the forest.
