Ha Long City Police has seized a truck on its way from Hai Phong City to Mong Cai Town, illegally transporting 280 kilograms of pangolins.

Elephant kills workers in Thanh Hoa Province
Two workers in Song Lo protective forest were killed by an elephant. A man was also killed in 1994 by the same elephant, after being thrown to the ground.

Wildlife meat sold openly on Highway #3
Photographs taken by tourists have recently come to light, showing wildlife meat being sold openly along Highway 3, which stretches from Thai Nguyen Province to Bac Can and Lao Cai Province.

Hanoi endures 80,000 tons of dust and smoke per year
Hanoi is estimated to be afflicted by 80,000 tons of dust and smoke each year, in addition to 9,000 tons of Sulfur dioxide (SO2), 19,000 tons of Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and 46,000 tons of Carbon dioxide (CO2). As a result, the number of people affected by respiratory diseases is increasing.
