Ha Tinh: Three bear cubs rescued
According to Ha Tinh Forest Protection Department (FPD), the three confiscated Asiatic black bear (Selenarctos thibetanus) were transferred to the Soc Son Rescue Center safely on April 24, 2010. The illegally transporting of three bear cubs was discovered by provincial police on April 20. ENV Wildlife Crime Unit and Ha Tinh FPD have been closely cooperating since then in an effort to rescue the three bear cubs. Up to now, the involved subjects are being under further investigation by the provincial police.
