More information about illegal hunting in Lam Dong province
On February 21, the authorities passed a decision to take those found hunting illegally in Bidoup – Nui Ba National Park using military guns in mid February to court. (Vietnamese version)

Wild animals confiscated in Quang Ngai province
On February 21, Quang Ngai police working in cooperation with Quang Ngai Forest Protection Department undertook a sudden inspection of a local house and confiscated more than 400kg of wild animals including pangolins, civets, porcupines, wild pigs, common barking deers, serows, and mouse deers. Sarus crane populations in Dong Thap province dwindling
Due to the impact of human activity in Dong Thap province, there have been an unusually low number of sightings of the sarus crane (Grus antigone) this year, in spite of the fact that this is the sarus crane’s breeding season. (Vietnamese version)

Siamese crocodiles – a fight for survival

Rangers found helping illegal loggers in Gia Lai province
